I’m Nick Mills. As a DJ I’ve been collecting records & playing at parties, bars, clubs, rooftops, gigs & festivals for over 25 years throughout Scotland, Newcastle, London & Sydney. I’ve played warm up sets for Gilles Peterson & Norman Jay, headlined second rooms to major acts like Goldie and spent a few years leading Smirnoff’s national UK events program.
Now living in South West Scotland I’m taking on DJ work where I can do more of what I love most - weaving together inspiring music and creating magic on the dancefloor.

A SOUNDSYSTEM FOR MUSIC LOVERS
A good sound system is more than just volume. It should deliver clarity, emotion, musicality & bass. That’s why I use Funktion One.
The hallmark of superclubs like Space in Ibiza and Berghain in Berlin, Funktion One has become the industry short-hand for anyone serious about good music & good sound. Put simply, those that know, will know.
Delivering great sound also requires high quality musical information. That’s why I use 2 x Pioneer CDJ3000s together with the iconic Isonoe 420 Audiophile Analog Rotary Mixer, a piece fine modern engineering based on the Bozak / Urei mixers originally found in the legendary clubs like Studio 54.
My system will deliver comfortably at events holding up to around 150 people. Additional PA equipment can be sourced for larger affairs.

I’ll break down your event into proposed segments of musical styles/genres together with some illustrative playlists so we can align on direction. We’ll also check details on PA’s & lighting etc.

A final run through is usually ideal. This can be a quick 5m phone call, or a even face-to-face if you prefer, to ensure the plan is clear so all you have to worry about are your dancing shoes…
Pricing
DJ + PA PACKAGE (INTRODUCTORY)
Covers DJing, equipment, F1 PA hire & basic lighting, inclusive of any time spent on preparation & working with you. I can focus on your party or partner with you on a full day package.
EVENING SET: 490 GBP + VAT
FULL DAY: 795 GBP + VAT
BESPOKE VINYL DJ SETS
I can also perform bespoke vinyl sets across certain genres using analogue audiophile gear including Technics 1210s & an Isonoe 420 rotary mixer.
50 GBP/hr + VAT
ADDITIONAL LIGHTING & PA
Some events & venues will need more sound & extra lighting - this can be arranged. The scale of event usually determines what is required & therefore exact pricing so best to get in touch.
